Reiki is one of the simplest, most direct and powerful ways of focusing healing energy. It is also one of the most ancient healing methods known to man.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes natural self healing. It is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" or "chi" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we're more likely to feel stress or get sick, and if it's high, we're more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki raises the vibrations of the energy field in and around the physical body where negative thoughts and feelings are attached. Reiki treats the whole person including body, mind and spirit, creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well being.

Reiki helps to replenish your vital energy, strengthen the immune system and ward off disease. It helps release blocks and suppressed feelings, enhances personal awareness and strengthens intuition. The balancing of the chakras or energy centers is also very effective with Reiki.

Reiki helps in the healing of ailments and illnesses such as:

  • headaches

  • body tensions

  • exhaustion

  • depression

  • fears and anxiety

In a Reiki session, the practitioner gently lays their hands on the recipient and Reiki channeled energy flows into the recipient, whose entire system is then charged and revitalized. Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. A Reiki session is very relaxing and many feel a calming energy flowing in and around them. My clients have reported feeling more balanced and grounded after a Reiki session.
