Traditional Foot Reflexology

An Ancient Science

What happens during a Traditional Reflexology session?

With Reflexology there is no need to remove your clothes, you will not get the squished massage face and as there are no oils used so you can make plans for immediately after. My goal is to make you feel welcome and comfortable knowing you are in the hands of a professional Reflexologist.

You will be asked to fill out a health record which will help me to gain an understanding of your expectations and health concerns. Sitting barefoot in a semi-reclined position in a very comfortable chair, you are able to see and share in what I am doing, or you may lie on a massage table and simply close your eyes and let your mind and body relax. I will examine your feet, perform some warms ups to help loosen and relax the muscles of the feet, and then begin the session.

Gentle pressure will be applied to the reflexes of the feet. The amount of pressure applied and the length of the session is tailored to suit your state of health. During the session you may drift off into dreamland or you may experience different sensations in your feet and body. These can vary from session to session and from person to person. Generally the session will be calming and relaxing. A gentle foot massage ends the session.

The sessions take about an hour, but allow a little more time for your first session.
